‘Really like him’: Gilberto Silva praises Arsenal star as ‘player of the season’

Arsenal great Gilberto Silva took to his social media platforms last night to praise the performances of Bukayosaka, Kieran Tierney and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
All three starred in the Gunners’ thrilling 3-2 win over Benfica in the Europa League.
For a while, it looked like Arsenal were going to be out of the game.
After taking the lead through Aubameyang, Portugal scored around half-time to lead 3-2 on aggregate.
Mikel Arteta’s side were still behind on away goals despite Tierney’s equaliser in the 67th minute.
Arsenal were hot on their heels in their ‘home’ game in Piraeus, Greece due to Covid-19 restrictions, with Benfica threatening to seal the draw with a breakthrough goal.
Then, in the 87th minute, Saka sent a delightful cross to the far post and Aubameyang had to nod from three yards.
Silva, who was part of Arsenal’s historic 2003/04 “Invincible” squad, celebrated on Twitter.
He starts by adding to the goal contributions of Tierney and Aubameyang:

Few Arsenal supporters can dispute Silva’s claim that Saka has been one of their standouts this season.
The 19-year-old has matured in football well beyond his years.
Saka is often the figurehead of Arsenal’s attack, with teammates looking to find players through their passing.
Scoring 13 goals in 31 games was a fantastic reward for Saka, who doesn’t turn 20 until September.
How long can they keep him?
Apart from the present, Arteta also wants Saka to be Arsenal’s future, although it may become increasingly difficult to keep his valuable asset.
Arsenal are just minutes away from surrendering their campaign last night. The Europa League is the Gunners’ last realistic chance of winning the Champions League next season.
Failure to do so could see football vultures surrounding talented stars like Saka and Emile Smith Rowe.

According to the stand reportBayern Munich showed interest in Saka last summer.
Dortmund too, because mirror report.
Rumors from Germany started to circulate when Saka stalled when he signed a new contract at Arsenal.
He ended up signing a long-term deal, but that doesn’t guarantee he’ll want to stay if his ambitions are higher than Arsenal’s achievements.
Arteta will want to build his team around Saka. He will do everything in his power to keep him.
